In regards to public access...

Doomstar is my personal site. Naturally, anything I put online for the general public greatly limits my expectation of privacy.

In regards to correspondence...

Doomstar wishes to correspond with all minds both pro and con to views expressed herein. Anonymous contact submissions are not completely anonymous. In most cases, You can be located geographically by the IP address from which you make contact. However, this really doesn't matter. Doomstar does not necessarily care where you are.

In regards to cookies...

Doomstar may use a single cookie to store your session ID, which is used to authenticate member access. Doomstar will never store your password or any personal information about you on your own computer via cookies or the like.

In regards to security...

This system may use server-side sessions. Sessions expire at logout or after one hour, so make sure you log out when you are finished for maximum security.

Do not give your password out. We will *never* ask you for your password. Do not pick a lame password. Lame passwords are lame. Pick a combination of letters and numbers which do not represent or describe you in any way. If you ever forget your password, use the forgot password feature. ALWAYS remember to login and change your password to a non-lame password to ensure maximum security.

In regards to password protected sections and user profiles...

Doomstar's policy is simple. Doomstar in no way shares user profile information with any individual or organization. Doomstar may ask your permission to publish content that you post. This will be handled via our automated system. Ultimately, the users will have control of their online identity within doomstar, as well as the content they publish as said identity.
